Pod system vape kits in Dubai and the UAE

A pod system is a rechargeable device that takes a replaceable pod or coil. You refill it with the e-juice you choose, recharge it, and replace only the coil when the flavour begins to fade. It is the middle ground between a disposable and a full sub-ohm mod: far cheaper to run than the former, far simpler to live with than the latter. This is our largest category, and for most people moving on from disposables it is the right destination.

MTL or DTL – decide this first

Every pod kit is built around one of two draw styles, and picking the wrong one is the most common reason people abandon a device.

• Mouth-to-lung (MTL) draws like a cigarette: a tight, restricted pull held in the mouth first. It suits higher-nicotine salt e-liquid, uses less liquid and less battery, and is what most ex-smokers want. Coils above roughly 0.8 ohm are typically MTL.
• Direct-to-lung (DTL) draws like an inhaler: airy and straight to the chest, with much more vapour. It suits lower-nicotine freebase liquid. Coils below roughly 0.6 ohm are typically DTL.

Many current kits include an adjustable airflow ring and coils for both, which is the safest choice if you are undecided.

What the specifications actually mean

Battery (mAh) – a 1000mAh pod kit will comfortably last a light user a full day; heavier DTL use may need 1500mAh or more, or a mid-day charge. Wattage – most pod kits sit between 15W and 40W; higher is not better, it simply matches the coil. Pod capacity (ml) – 2ml to 5ml, determining how often you refill. Coil resistance (ohm) – lower resistance means more power, more vapour and more liquid consumed.

The coil platform matters more than the device

The single most useful thing to know before buying: manufacturers build coil platforms that span many devices. VOOPOO PnP coils fit across the DRAG, ARGUS and VINCI families. Buying into a platform your retailer actually stocks means you can still get coils in two years, which matters more than any spec on the box. Getting more life out of a coil

A new coil should be primed – wet the cotton through the ports, fill the pod, then leave it standing five to ten minutes before the first pull. Firing a dry coil burns the cotton permanently within seconds, and no amount of liquid recovers it afterwards. Sweetened dessert and candy liquids caramelise onto the mesh and shorten coil life noticeably compared with lighter fruit or menthol profiles.
