GeekVape G Coil Series (Pod Formula)
GeekVape’s G Mesh coil line for compatible pod devices, spanning four resistances from a low-wattage 1.8Ω MTL option down to a denser 0.6Ω restricted-DL coil.
Resistance guide
- 0.6Ω mesh — 5-15W, restricted direct-lung
- 0.8Ω mesh — 12-15W, balanced, warmer vapor
- 1.2Ω MTL — 9-11W, tight draw, strong throat hit
- 1.8Ω MTL — 7-9W, lowest-power, most cigarette-like pull
Our take
The 1.8Ω is the one to reach for if you’re specifically trying to replicate a cigarette’s draw resistance and want maximum battery efficiency — it’s the lowest-wattage option in GeekVape’s current pod coil range. The 0.6Ω, despite being labeled “restricted DL,” still runs cooler and less cloud-heavy than a true sub-ohm tank coil, so don’t expect Aegis-A-series-level vapor from it.
How to use
Align the coil with the pod’s slot and press until flush, fill the tank, wait 5 minutes for the cotton to saturate, then reattach and vape.
FAQ
Best resistance for high-nicotine salts? 1.2Ω or 1.8Ω — both are built for low-wattage MTL use.
Does priming matter? Yes — skip it and you risk a dry, burnt hit on the first few puffs.
