Our take
0.3Ω is genuinely sub-ohm territory — don’t run high-strength nic salt through it, since the higher wattage makes strong salts harsh rather than smooth. 0.8Ω is the more forgiving all-rounder if you’re not sure which style you’ll prefer; it handles both freebase and nic salt reasonably well.
How to use
Pull the old coil from the pod, prime the new one with 3-5 drops of e-liquid on the wicking ports, press it in firmly, fill, wait 5-10 minutes, then set wattage to the coil’s recommended range.
FAQ
Can I use nic salts with the 0.3Ω coil? Not recommended — the higher wattage makes strong salts harsh; stick to lower-strength freebase liquid instead.
Does this fit the Crown 5 or other Uwell tanks? No — PA coils are built specifically for the Crown D.
